NEWS FOR HEARING

Thanks to AI your brain will have a complete sound perspective

Discover the hearing aids featuring the new Oticon MoreSound Intelligence™ technology

Do you know why with traditional hearing aids it is not possible to clearly hear what is happening around you? Because they are designed to focus only on the voices in front of you. But this is not the right way to treat hearing loss, the soundscape is too limited and unnatural. It is difficult to follow conversations and hear background sounds. Furthermore, this way the brain does not get the information it needs.

The soundscape varies depending on where you are and where you are going, and in addition to voices it contains many other sounds. The brain knows how to manage this complexity and give it meaning, and the task of hearing technology is to support it.

The brain-supporting hearing aid

Researchers have long had a clear concept: we hear with our ears, but we understand with our brain. This is a cognitive process. These are the foundations of Oticon’s BrainHearing™ philosophy, on which Oticon MoreSound Intelligence™ is also based. Hearing aids equipped with this technology have a microchip inside them, Polaris™, which in turn is equipped with an innovative technology: the Deep Neural Network (DNN). The DNN is very advanced:

  • It mimics the way the brain works

  • He knows how to recognize the various types of sound in detail

  • Can reproduce these sounds clearly and naturally

    Hearing well with little effort

+15% understanding

Sounds delivered to the brain by hearing aids containing MoreSound Intelligence™ technology are clear. Compared to the best hearing aid Oticon has designed to date, you will be able to hear and understand 15% more of what is said, which will also help your ability to remember.
